WHAT IS DATA WEEK 2025?

Organised by BDVA, and hosted by Cosmote-OTE, Data Week 2025 will center its focus on the fundamental elements of Data Value creation. Artificial intelligence (AI) serves as a pivotal tool in unlocking data value through various means and this is why our event`s theme is “Odyssey of AI: Navigating the Data Seas”. Creating value from data also requires viewing it from an ecosystem perspective and fostering collaboration among multiple stakeholders, which lays the groundwork needed for research excellence, that is required to be rapidly put into action for competitiveness and societal benefit.

This year, Data Week will be a 2-day physical event taking place in Athens, Greece between 27-28 May. The event is organised by the Big Data Value Association, hosted by Cosmote – OTE and in collaboration with the following BDVA members: Athens Technology Center S.A. (ATC), Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS), CORE Innovation Center, Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications – National Centre for Scientific Research “Demokritos”, FORTH and Neuropublic.

BDVA has partnered with the International Manufacturing-X for Data Week 2025, which will bring our two communities together! One day prior to our event, on 26 May (Monday), an invitation-only workshop of International Manufacturing-X will take place at the same venue location, the OTE Academy. The IMX event will take place from 9:30 to 18:00 EEST. It will be followed by a Data Week – IMX reception will take place at 19h (which will be open to IMX and DW registered participants only). Interested participants can contact dataweek@bdva.eu or the IMX team. Your potential participation can only be validated by the IMX organising team.

HOW DO I REGISTER?

• The event is open to any participant.
• BDVA members have access and services for FREE. It is enough to register through the option “Entry ticket to Data Week 2025”
• Non-BDVA member have free access but the food and services need to be paid (and this is a mandatory requirement to join the event). Please when registering select the option “Entry ticket to Data Week 2025” + Services for those days you are attending the evenT
