QU4LITY results presented at JSI open house

At the traditional, annual open house, the researchers of Jožef Stefan Institute presented various results from different fields of research to more than 450 visitors from the general public. One of the featured presentations came from the robotics laboratory of the Department of automatics, biocybernetics and robotics. We presented the JSI technological experimental facility that was developed for the QU4LITY project. Its main feature is a reconfigurable robot cell that enables fast switching of production processes. The presented workcell included the implementation of adaptive visual quality control for the Kolektor Pilot. It was presented to the visitors from the general public, which could see how research and innovation efforts are directed to helping the industry in order to achieve zero-defect manufacturing.
