You are invited to the LAILEC 2024 Conference!

CiTiP is organising LAILEC together with BDVA’s Data Week on 5-7 June 2024. The LAILEC conference will look at responsible AI governance in light of the EU AI Act’s approval, covering compliance methodologies, best practices and notable implementations. It will explore innovative solutions such as policy prototyping and regulatory sandboxes.

In addition, analyses will be provided on global AI policy initiatives, including those in the UK, US, and China, to assess their impact and the potential for international regulatory convergence. In terms of data regulation, the conference seeks to examine the evolving landscape, focusing on frameworks such as GDPR, the Data Act, and the Data Governance Act. Emphasis will be placed on building trust between data subjects, holders, and users.

Discussions will include the concept of common European data spaces and emerging entities, such as data intermediation service providers and data altruism organisations, which are critical to promoting secure data sharing.
