DESCRIPTION

In May 2020, the European Commission launched a second emergency call and 24 projects were awarded. Among these, 4 projects are focused to the Rapid Repurposing of manufacturing for vital medical supplies and equipment: Eur3ka, imPURE, RESERVIST and CO-VERSATILE.Repurposing is a rapid response solution to address shortage items or to cover the requirements of new products/processes/services after a specific event or crisis, such as the Covid 19 pandemic. Which are the key factors involved in repurposing? What should be repurposed? Which are the potential ways to mitigate the encountered challenges? What new opportunities does it bring? Join and learn from the leading-edge initiatives about the different approaches that European industry is taking to lead the manufacturing repurposing revolution.
